Custom quilting is a combination of pantograph designs, block insets from templates, channel quilting, and a variety of free-hand quilting including: outlining, meandering around insets, stitching in the seams, and echo quilting. Thread colors can vary within the quilt.

Heirloom quilting is custom quilting that can include extremely dense quilting, cross-hatching & diagonal grid work.

Every quilt deserves a new needle. A $5.00 thread and needle charge will be charged for each quilt.
Please read before scheduling your quilt:
Quilts must be clean and pressed. Threads must be trimmed, remember, dark threads will show through light fabric. Backing must be 4″ larger on all four sides than the quilt top.
Top and backing must be square, this means that when folded like a towel, the edges & corners line up. Mark the top (pillow edge) of the Quilt top and backing with a safety pin.
I will use the utmost care as I quilt. with your understanding that pleats and puckers may be impossible to avoid. If there are puckers within the body of the quilt, I cannot help quilting over them as they may show a crease.
If quilts are not picked up after 6 months they will become the property of They Called Her Lettie and will be sold to cover quilting costs.
